The Fellowship Players have been providing live theatre in Walsall since 1947 and have just celebrated our 70th season. We usually perform four plays a year at the Grange Playhouse, Broadway North, Walsall.
Due to the extended refurbishment of The Grange Playhouse, we are not yet able to confirm our new season of plays for 2017-2018 (Season 71). In the meantime here are details of our next production, which is currently in rehearsal.
On a wet and windy night in 1923, a group of people are stranded in an isolated country station for the night after one of the passengers decides to pull the emergency brake cord in order to retrieve his ‘beastly hat’.
Whilst trying to find a solution to their predicament, they are treated to a ghost story by the long serving station master, Saul. Mindful of the local superstition surrounding the station’s history, he refuses to stay with the passengers and they are left alone in the cold, damp waiting room wondering whether or not any of them will get a peaceful night…
PLEASE NOTE: THIS PRODUCTION HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FROM OCTOBER 2017 DUE TO THE REFURBISHMENT OF THE GRANGE PLAYHOUSE. THE FELLOWSHIP PLAYERS APOLOGISE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE CAUSED BY THIS CHANGE, WHICH WAS DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL.
